TEDxUOregon | Event Design
University of Oregon hosted their first ever TEDx event in February 2013. I was part of the designated design team for the event. Our team of 3 was asked to transform the space and make it "not look like a classroom", and create a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflected elements of the local Eugene community.
With a small budget of $800, we connected, designed, and produced all stage elements. We used a variety of hand and digital fabrication methods to build all the pieces from scratch. Our ultimate vision came to life successfully (and on budget!) to provide the intimate setting that TED is known for.
